I guess other messages have made it clear that High BP is not a cause for
erections.
Arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), is listed as one of the causes
of ED.
Viagra, if it has any effect on BP is to lower it. (Based on what I read in
the product info page at the Pfizer web site).
Vasodilators, used to relax the smooth muscles, lower BP.
Yohimbine, raises BP for most people.
That is an undesirable side effect, one of many.
Someone recently commented that it raises BP in proportion to the dosage you
take. This could explain my results, where it seems to lower my bp when I take
a low dose (which is ineffective for ED) and if I take a large enough dose, I
do get high BP readings, along with nausea, etc.
